Verificamos que la denuncia de violación existe y, efectivamente, la mujer fue detenida por carabineros. Ambos hechos fueron confirmados por el juez Juan Manuel Gatica. Sin embargo, la forma en que se entrega la información es imprecisa.
Respecto de los titulares en cuestión, los calificamos como «Requiere más información» porque indican que la mujer fue detenida cuando se dirigía a denunciar. Pero el juez declara que se le encontró en otro contexto: «golpeando la casa de una mujer y al ser detenida se llevó al hospital local para constatar lesiones». El magistrado agrega que la detención se declaró ilegal. Que entendiendo que fue víctima de un ilícito no fue formalizada por ningún delito de parte del Ministerio Público.
