That perspective about treating a toddler meltdown like an emotional storm to ride out instead of a problem to instantly fix really hit home today. We’ve had a tough week with our three-year-old, and keeping that in mind this afternoon genuinely saved us both a lot of tears. Such a refreshing, realistic reminder that our job is to be the calm anchor rather than trying to control the weather.
