¿Destacan estos sectores por contratar principalmente hombres? Según el estudio Empleo Femenino y Covid-19: Diagnóstico y Propuestas, del Centro de Políticas Públicas de la Universidad Católica ambos sectores (servicios sociales y personales y comercio) son los que concentran la mayor participación femenina en el mundo laboral, como muestra el cuadro.
Más allá de la precisión del dato, el argumento de fondo del candidato es correcto: las mujeres como fuerza laboral se han visto muy golpeadas en los últimos años. El mismo informe dice: “Desde fines de 2019, entonces, se puede ver una reducción de la fuerza laboral femenina de 910.000 trabajadoras”
